Carol Watson has over 30 years of experience in the food and hospitality world. After many years as a partner with the Mia Francesca restaurant group she decided she was ready for a new challenge. She attended Tante Marie Cooking School in San Francisco and upon her return to Chicago opened Milk & Honey Café in 2002 which would become the namesake of Milk & Honey Granola. She developed the granola recipe at the café when it first opened it doors and the granola business took off from there. The café is in its 16th year of business and Carol splits her time between Milk & Honey Café and Milk & Honey Granola.

In 2006, Karen was given the opportunity to manage the operations of Milk and Honey Granola (MHG) and eventually buy in as minority partner. By nurturing her relationship with store buyers, regional buyers and their distributors she has championed MHG's move from distribution primarily in the Midwest to national distribution in various retailers throughout the U.S. She is extremely proud of the growth and resilience Milk & Honey Granola has achieved as a small business and currently oversees supplier/retailer relations as well as order management.
